Yesterday, I was invited by Lush Lebanon to create my own Catastrophe Cosmetic signature mask. For those who don't know, Lush is specialized in fresh and hand-made cosmetics. They have an amazing range of face masks, one for every issue but Catastrophe Cosmetic (their Best Seller) is good enough to suit all skin-type. I explained the benefits of this mask in details in my previous post, so check it ;) I also mentioned that my followers can get one mask for free. You just need to ask for Mademoiselle L's mask and don't forget to follow Lush on their social media.
Quantity is limited, so try to pass by as soon as possible!

I was invited with four others Lebanese bloggers to recreate the mask. Each of us was given the fresh ingredients (blueberries, calamine...) and we started the recipe. It really felt like baking, mixing everything together but honestly it was so much fun! My friends Rasha and Cynthia (from Mode Nomade) helped me with the preparation.  We started by crushing the berries to get the juice out. We then added the Irish Mosh gel, the Glycerine and Almond Oil. After few drop of Rose Absolute and Camomille Blue Oil, we finished with the Calamine powder and some Talc. After some kneading, we finally obtained the right consistency and the mask was ready to be divided and spooned into the signed Mademoiselle L pots!
You can see the whole process in the pictures below:

...and Sexiness as well!

I am a big advocate of deep treatmend like mask. I took the habit of having a face mask once a week during what I call my spa day (usually on Sunday). I pamper myself and complete a full hair body and face routine. You can apply your mask whenever you want, but the best time is actually during a hot bath because the heat will open your pores. This will not only cleanse your face deeply but also allow the mask properties to fully penetrate your skin.

Exfoliation is a must before applying your mask!

You should always apply your mask on a freshly cleansed skin I prefer to exfoliate my skin before applying the mask. It will get rid of the dead skin cells on the surface of the skin which can block the mask penetration. My all-time-favorite face scrub is Ocean Salt, also from Lush. I always rince off with warm water because cold water will close your pores. You can then apply your mask (avoiding the eye area) and I let it sit for approximatively 15 minutes. When you feel the mask has dried, apply some warm water and massage the face while washing everything off. Massaging your face prevents aging and stimulate the blood flow which gives you a healthy and glowing skin.

Once you've rince the mask, you will notice that your face is glowing, the pores have vanished and your skin feels incredibly soft. The final step is to apply your favorite face cream. If you are not sure which one you should use, below is a selection from  Lush facial moisturizer to keep the natural touch and complete your routine.
Dry & Sensitive Skin
Normal to Combination Skin
Oily Skin

Thank you Lush Lebanon!

I would like to thank Lush Lebanon for this amazing and fun experience, and to all the followers who got a fresh mask, I hope you will enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed making it!
