  1. Olaplex
Because it saved my hair after too much bleach. EVERYONE should try it, especially if you dye your hair or have damaged hair. This is the best thing I have done for my hair!

  2. Benefit They're Real Mascara
I was late on the hype but boy, this mascara is BOMB! I know that for some of my friends, it doesn't work (they think the wand is too big) but on me, it just gives me doll lashes. I don't think I will use any other mascara! (that's what she said...to be continued)

  3. Chanel Rouge Allure Ink
Liquid Matte lipsticks have been a big revolution in term of makeup, but I think that Chanel really created something great with this one. The texture is thin and comfortable, yet the finish is a perfect matte with vibrant colors, long wear and no bleeding or craking. The color 152 Choquant  is my holy grail classic red.

  4. Chanel Rouge Coco Stylo
Another Chanel liptsick? What can I say, they have really impressed me this year! This one has an opposite finish, which is shiny. Very shiny. Yet the color stay put all day long and the texture is so hydrating on your skin. Best part? The color doesn't fade, only the shiny finish, so even after a while, you still have a stain on your lips. My favorite color? Roman, a bright fuschia that illuminate the complexion!

  5. SK-II Facial Treatment Essence Eye
I suffer from severe eye allergies and because of that, I have developed premature wrinkles around my eyes. They are more of dehydration wrinkles, but still. I am scared to death! This eye cream is just incredible, I have seen most of my wrinkle disappear. I already have one back-up and still thinking about how I will get more...

  6. Hourglass Ambiant Lighting Blush in Diffused Heat
Again, I was late to catch that train, but I didn't have access to Hourglass product until this year, when I discovered they were available in the Milan Sephora. Diffushed Heat is just the perfect color to create a natural sunkissed flush because it has just the right amount of red (and if you've noticed, you get a reddish tint on your face when you get tanned), with the right amount of shimmer to gives the perfect glow.

  7. Jojoba Oil
I have always been fond of using natural oil as face moisturizer. I had never tried Jojoba though and I was so wrong. The composition of Jojoba is actually the closest to your skin sebum so it is perfect for your skin. It is non comedogenic (oily/acne skin friendly) and easily peneratre. I highly recommend it, especially in the summer, for it has a light texture. I have a new favorite!

  8. Chanel Le Vernis Long Wear Nail Colours
More Chanel? Sorry...not sorry! They reformulated their nail polish range (much needed, older version didn't last much, at least on me) and it works wonder! I have 3 colors so far, Roubashka, Shantung and Camelia, and they last a good week on me (I use a Kiko top coat), knowing that nail polish rarely last more than 3 days on me. Love the colors, love the formula! Go Chanel!

  9. Skinceuticals Retexturing Activator
Despite all my effort, I noticed that my skin was never "perfect" (I am picky, but still...). I always noticed some tiny blemishes, little spots or bumps. This serum got rid of EVERYTHING and helped me get the complexion I was dreaming of. If you are looking for that one product to boost your skincare, that's the one!

  10. bareMinerals Bronzer in Warmth & Faux Tan
What I love the most about this bronzer is how natural it looks. It gives me a realistic tan and never looks cakey or muddy because it is mineral makeup. I used Warmth in the summer because it has a good balance of red and brown (and suits better medium to tan skin) while Faux-Tan is perfect in the colder month because it has no orange undertone, yet it looks very glowy and nice on the skin.

Coconut Oil is a blessing. This multipurpose oil is getting more and more popular while it has been use for centuries in tropical countries . I keep two jars of coconut oil at home : one in the kitchen for cooking (I only use coconut oil and olive oil) and one in my bathroom.
One of my first post on this blog was about using oils to weekly deep condition my hair in order to keep them healthy and moisturized. I also happen to use it to replace five more beauty/hygiene items in my bathroom:

Despite the different haircut trends, most girls and women dream of luscious, long and healthy hair. Like a princess (maybe because Disney gave us unrealistic expectations about hair?)
What if I tell you the best treatment for your hair is actually in your...kitchen? Although it seems disgusting for some people, the best ingredients for your hair is EGGS. Yes dears.
I can already see your faces (just like the face my friends makes when I tell them I put eggs on my hair). What you need to understand is why eggs are so effective. Hair are 70% made of protein (keratin) while one single egg contains 3.6 to 6.5 g of proteins.  Because of their high amount in protein, eggs manages to fill the weakened spot of hair and strengthen it. This is actually no secret because our grandmothers and great grandmothers probably used this tip too.
In addition to the eggs, we use oil to moisture. Your hair produce naturally its own moisture, sebum. When your hair is too dry, it is because the sebum production is dysfunctional so that is why you need to add more moisture.
I have had long hair for years and this recipe is part of my routine to maintain the length and strength of my curly hair.
