Don't you hate that feeling when you look at your closet and you feel like you have nothing to wear, yet it is full of clothes? Yes, me too.. To avoid that, I try to purge my closent quite often, in order to get rid of shallow pieces and things that I don't really like anymore.

Yoga is probably one the biggest trend of the past couple of years, due to the healthy lifestyle craze. I was influenced by that trend, I won’t deny it. It is because of the trend that Yoga has become more accessible and known to a wider audience. However, I had a specific idea of what I was expecting from my practice and it was not stretching (as a ballerina, I am already quite flexible) or being able to do specific posture and showcase them in picture. I wanted to find inner peace, balance and grow. I wanted to learn how to meditate and stay calm even when going through a storm. And this is exactly what I found when I first started Kundalini Yoga. "Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self." I started Yoga over a year ago, and like most people who did, it changed my life. Yoga quickly became more than a weekly activity, it became an inward-looking journey.
After few months of practice, I wanted to attend a retreat somewhere. I also really wanted to take a solo trip, so when I heard about the Tallala Yoga Retreat in Sri Lanka, I knew I had to go there. Few days after I left my job, I booked my ticket and my retreat. A quick inspiration list for Valentine's Day that should make you feel sexy and fabulous, whether you are taken or single!
Happy New Year! If you are reading this post, you may have noticed some changes that happened to this blog. For the new year, I thought the beginning of the new year would be the perfect time for a change. After all, aren't the new year resolutions about an upgrade of yourself? 2015 hasn't been the easiest year of my life, but it did for sure taught me a lot. Despite some bitter memories, I am grateful for all the experience I have been through and all the amazing things I was able to do and live.
