Fall is a beautiful seasons because of its rich shades of khaki, browns, red and burnt oranges. This year, Chanel released a collection inspired by those colors and I have to admit that it is probably the best collection of the season.
The amazing Chanel makeup artist, Mireille Zein created a dramatic look for me. I had a lot of fun because I rarely get my makeup done by professional since I enjoy doing it myself. It was nice to get pampered and discover some Chanel classics as well as the new collection.

The makeup itself was a mix of khaki, deep orange and browns on the eyes, with glowy cheeks and coral lips. You don't have to use the exact products to recreate trhis look, you can just use it as an inspiration look for this season! What I like with this collection is that you can create a multitude of looks, natural or dramatic.

Les Automnales 2015 : The Look

Mireille wanted to create a smokey eyes for me. She first used the Illusion d'Ombre cream eyeshadow in #116 Rouge-Gorge. She insisted on the crease so that there would be a pop of color to contrast with the darkest colors. Then she used Les 4 Ombres in #254 Tissé d'Automne and added a mix of the shimmery brown and khaki on the lid and smoke the eyes with the matte dark green, insisting on the outer corner. To finish the upper eye, shed used Ligne Graphique, a black liquid eyeliner to create a medium wing. She also line the inner rim and waterline of my eyes with the Stylo Waterproof in #921 Pomme de Pin, a  gorgeous shimmery dark brown black. She also used on the lower lash line #919 Erabe and #918 Ardent to create a nice gradient effect. She completed the eye makeup with two coats of mascara le Volume Ultra-Noir in Noir Khôl #90 and enhanced my eyebrow with the brow pencil in #40 Brun Cendré.

Mireille working on that contouring
For the face, Mireille used the Perfection Lumière Velvet foundation (color #50) and covered my dark circles with the  Correcteur Perfection concealer. Since the finish of the foundation is matte, she added some light back by using Le Blanc de Chanel as a highlight on the under-eyes and cheeks. Then she added the new blush #260 Alezane and used the lightest color of the palette Entrelacs as a highlighter on the highest point of my cheeks, the inner corner of the eyes and the brow bone. Then she added a little bit of contouring, using the Les Beiges powder in #60. She finished with the lips by lining them with with the lip pencil in #34 Natural and applied the Rouge Allure Velvet in La Favorite #43, a beautiful and bright but matte coral lipstick.

My Favorite picks from the Collection

The collection should now be available is store, in most world areas, so I highly invite you to discover it!  I love every single item in this collection, which alomost never happens. However, I particularly fell in love with the below products, so if you still have some doubts, I highly suggest these because they are the most unique.

Entrelacs Eyeshadow Palette
If you don't have a classic neutral palette in your vanity, this could be your ideal pick. The shades can suits all eyes colors. With one matte, two satin and two shimmery shadows, the palette is also versatile enough to create both natural and dramatic looks.

Nail Polish in Châtaigne #669

This is the typical fall nail color but with a twist! This is a very dark red with a brown base making it different from the classic burgundy and dark plum shades you can find.

Illusion d'Ombre in Rouge-Gorge #116
Would you dare put orange on your eyes? I think you should really try, but pair it with a darker color, brown or khaki. This will make your eyes pop but the texture is still easy to work with so that you can build the intensity from a nice sheen to a stronger color.

Stylo Yeux Waterproof in Erable #918
Shimmery copper liner? Yes please! Metallic eyes is a big trend this season, and paired with an orange coppery hue, you have a winner for this season. The formula of the new release has also drasticlly improved. These eyeliner glide so smoothly and the color payoff is really good.

Blush in Alezane #260
I just fell in love with this blush. The color, the sheen, the glow. Everything about it is perfect.
