Every year, the Victoria's Secrets Fashion Show enchants us. This is one of the most glamourous event in the Fashion world, especially because of their gorgeous models/ambassadors who are also part of the brand now. For my very first makeup look on the blog, I wanted to recreate their beautiful signature makeup look. Beside their fit bodies, the Angels always display a beautiful glow, bronzed skin and sultry eyes. However, I wanted to do something simple and accessible so that even beginners could do it. If you have further questions though, don't hesitate to comment below :) Face: Your skin need to be clean and moisturized first. Step 1: Prime and prep the skin I started with the Armani Fluid Master Primer to prep my skin. Step 2: Apply foundation I applied the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation (in #6.5) with a Beauty Blender to create a natural and glowy finish. Step 3: Contour & Highlight To contour, I used a Maybelliine Dream Matte Mouse Foundation in the shade Caramel #60. Using a darker foundation creates a more natural contour and the creamy texture makes it easy to blend. Make sure you use 2 to max 3 shades darker than your skin tone. Then, in order to cover up my dark circles and highlight, I used the Nars Radiant creamy concealer in Custard. Step 4: Fix the base In order to keep all the cream and fluid texture in place, apply a loose powder. Mine is the Nars Light Reflecting Powder, because its color is universal and does not take away the glow of the foundation and highlight. Step 5: Bronze the skin VS model are sun kissed girls, so you wouldn't like to skip the bronzer part. I used the Rimmel Natural Bronzer with a big and fluffy brush to warm up my face. Step 6: Sexy flush I added a little bit of blush, using Nars Orgasm powder blush. The peachy pink suits most skin tone and give the illusion...well the name says it all! ;) Step 7: Highlight some more (optional) If you are comfortablem you can add some more highlight beacuse VS model have very highlighted cheekbones. I just dabbed a little bit of Feeling Younger from Lush with my beauty blender to enhance the glow. Eyes Step 1: Create a base I used the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze to create base. Powder eyeshadows tend to last more when they are applied on a creamy base. You can use this eyeshadow on its own but I wanted to create more depths Step 2: Line the eyes I took the Smokey Taupe #31 palette, again from Maybelline and applied the darkest brown to line my eyes, just like you would do with an eyeliner. I blended it to create a smokey effect, then I lined again using the same brown, but the second time I kept the line more precised. For the bottom lash line, I simply mixed the 2nd and 4th colors and applied it along the lash line Step 3: Highlight Using the lightest color from the palette (#1), softly apply it in the inner corner of your eyes to bring some eyes and open them. Step 4: Lash it out! Finish the eye look with your favorite mascara. Lately I have been trying the YSL Babydoll Effet Faux-Cils Mascara and I love the fact that it creates long and flirty lashes. Step 5: Add drama (optional) If mascara is not enough, you can always add false lashes but I personnaly recommend that you use individual lashes for a more natural look. VS models have sultry eyes but their eye-makeup is never too dramatic. Brows, Lips and Finishing touch
Step 1: Don't neglect the brows Brows shape your face, which is why you should not neglect them. If you already have full brows, just brush them to create a nice shape. To keep them in place you can use a clear mascara. If you have sparse area though, you have to fill your brows. My all-time favorite is the Makeup Forever Aqua Brow with their double-ended angled brush #274. Step 2: Sexy lips I chose to keep the lips fresh and sexy by just using the Dolce & Gabbana Lipgloss in Innocence #78. Step 3: Fix the whole makeup In order to keep your makeup in place all day/night long, use a makeup mist like the Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray. This will not only prevent your makeup from creasing and fading, but it will also remove the powdery effect of the product and give you a more natural look.
