Paris is always a good idea... especially for shopping! Of course, most of my shopping was cosmetics but I also treated myself with a self-birthday gift, which I will reveal also in another post. For now, let's see the makeup! :)

KIKO

If you don't know KIKO, you are clearly missing on something! This Italian brand carries a wide line of makeup and skincare. And the best part is the quality, which is incredible for the low price point.

Everytime I am off to Paris or Milan, I know I will end up at KIKO. This time, I was quite reasonable and stick myself to a couple of items.
This time, I was quite reasonable and stick myself to a couple of items.

I first got some eye pencils : the Automatic Precision Eyeliner  in a dark grey with shimmers, the Smart Eye Pencil in taupe and the Kajal in a flesh color for the inner waterline to brighten the eyes.

KIKO eyeshadows are probably my all-time favorites. The pigmentation is amazing and they are long-wearing. If you have to try one thing from KIKO, I recommend the eyeshadows.

I chose this charcoal grey  (#175) which is perfect because it is softer than black for smokey eyes, but still intense enough. If you are afraid of black or if you are fair-skin, I think this is a great alternative.

Nail polish paradise is probably also at KIKO. I have so many of them and they easily top the greatest brand. Another bonus is that they are 5-Free, which makes them also a safe pick (no toxic ingredients.)
I love the light peach color for the summer. I picked the second one as it reminded of Chanel Taboo, which was a limited edition release. It is such a beautiful shade of red purple with iridescent shimmers that will be perfect for the fall/winter season.

Dior Poison Girl : My new favorite scent

Usually, I don't like to change my perfume because I love having a signature scent. I do have seasonal and random favorites but I always come back to my favorite scent. However, I did fall in love with the latest release from Dior, Poison Girl. With a vanilla, tonka bean and sandalwood base, the fragrance opens with Sicilian orange and lead to  a heart of rose from Grasse and Damas. Poison Girl is part of the Poison perfumes family, a cult oriental fragrance that was released in the 80s. Poison Girl is more powdery and with a strong rose heart notes. It is also younger and less femme-fatal, but still very captivating and sensual.

Sephora : randoms picks and goodies

Sephora is my second-home. When I was living in Paris, I would literary visit the shop all the time. The one in the Champ-Elysées is simply incredible and the service is always on-point.
I also love going there because of my favorite YSL Sale Associate, who knows me so well and who always has the best suggestions. This time, he convinced me to try the Mascara Vinyl Couture, their latest release. Now, you should know that I dare a lot when it comes to makeup but colored mascara was always out of my comfort zone. But when he tried the blue shade on me, I was sold! The color was beautiful, intense but still elegant.
I got my beloved Touche-Eclat highlighting pen because well, I can't live without it! And I usual, my favorite SA did spoil me with a couple of goodies (above in the picture).

I also got a back-up of this hair mask from Christophe Robin. I have so much to say about it that I will probably dedicate a full post to this product, but in one word, if I need back-up, it's because it's AWESOME!

I also got the Aqua Brow from Makeup Forever in the darkest shade (now that I am back to black hair) and re bought brow brush (I gave mine to my mom). This tiny tube lasts forever because you need just tiny bit of product on your brows. The best part? The gel-like texture is waterproof and last ALL DAY. No one wants to see their eyebrow disappear.

Can't escape a little Chanel... Their latest lipstick is awesome. The Rouge Coco Stylo are glossy and highly pigmented. I picked Roman, a bright and gorgeous hot pink but I am so hooked on the formula, I am already considering other colors (maybe a nude and an orange-red).
Last but not least, I bought a mineral bronzer from bareMinerals. The brand is known for its mineral makeup, which is perfect and recommended for sensitive skins. The shade Warmth has small gold shimmers to illuminate and give you a glow, without turning you into a disco ball or a fake pumpkin :)

Hope you enjoy my small selection and it inspired you! :)
Have a great weekend!
