Quick Tip : Emergency Makeup Remover

Let's say you run out of makeup remover (or don't sleep at home) but you have a full smokey eyes or bright red lipstick. Most of you may be tempted to sleep with your makeup on, but believe me, you should not! This will damage your skin and eyelashes (and your pillow case) which doesn't sound very nice...

Solution? Grab some olive oil (or coconut oil), rub it gently where you want to remove the makeup (don't open your eyes though...). The oil will dissolve the makeup. Take a cotton pad or a gentle tissue to remove everything. Repeat until you have no makeup left AND YOU ARE DONE! Yes dear.

Bonus?
Your lips/eyes/face will be moisturized for the night.

If you still feel uncomfortable with the residue of oil, wash you face with water or apply some rose water on a cotton pad to refresh your skin.

Have a great weekend! :)

This is so helpful. I always run out of makeup removing wipes so this will come in handy.

You're welcome!
I know, it's really a great solution for big emergencies, especially if you end up sleeping at a friend's place or your bf's ;)

Never thought of applying olive oil on my face 🙈 Vaseline is great too for removing waterproof liptick!

Hehehe who would have know?
It's the same principle as Vaseline (except Vaseline is made of Mineral Oil while this is Natural Oil) and oil can dissolve the makeup pigment!
