MUFE launched their new foundation powder last year. My workmate saw me use it the other day and told me she really likes it, so I decided I should make a review about it.
This powder is oil-free and can be used as a regular powder to a heavy coverage foundation powder. The sponge provided is meant to be used wet or dry, depending on the wanted finish and coverage. Wet, it will give you a moderate and semi-matte finish while the dry sponge will create a full coverage with matte finish.
Upon my experience, I don’t recommend using the sponge because the result is very “cakey”. Maybe it is because I have combination to dry skin, so the sponge might work on oily skin. However, I think that using a powder brush will still be the best option because you can really work on the coverage and build it up if you want, while keeping a natural result.
My personal trick to make powder foundation looks even more natural is to use a fixing spray, like the Mist & Fix also from MUFE. This spray manage to set everything in place so that the powder really doesn’t show, making your skin look flawless, yet natural. This trick work for any powder product you want to use! My other little secret? Rose water will also do just fine as a finishing spray. So if you already use it as a skincare, you can add this as another benefit!
The large color range, with different undertones (neutral, yellow, pink and olive) is also another great thing about this Pro Finish powder. Globally, I recommend this foundation, especially if you have oily to combination skin.
