S.O.S. Hangover

The weekend is finally here! You probably had a great party yesterday or you will have tonight. And maybe you won't remember what happened but your skin probably will. 
For those crazy nights, I have some remedies keep a beautiful skin and wake up like a princess!
  • Once you wake up and before eating anything, squeeze a lemon and add the juice to glass of warm water (not hot and not cold). This will not only detoxify your liver but also rebalance the pH of your body.
  • Speaking of water... Drink water. A lot! Water is essential to our body and help rehydrate your skin and body. 
  • If you know you are going to drink at a party, have a glass of water for each glass of alcohol.
  • Do not drink coffee! I know many people say it is a hangover cure, it can actually makes you feel worse because too much caffeine can enhance the bad effect of alcohol (you can feel that when you have that Vodka-Redbull). 
  • Drink Green Tea instead. It will help flush all the toxins in your body and since it is full of antioxidants, it can make you recover faster. 
  • EXERCISE! Even if it's for 15 minutes of stretching. Beside keeping our shape, sport or any physical activities are essential to our body as we were made for an active life, not sedentary. 
  • Eat lean and clean. Don't get any junk food because they will make you more tired since they don't have any essential nutrients our bodies need. Get as man of fruits and vegetables as you can. Like I said in a previous article, they make your skin glow from the inside.
  • Pamper your skin and have a facial mask. Oily to combination skins should get a purifying mask while normal to dry skins can have a hydrating mask. 
  • Sleep (as much as you can). This is quite obvious I guess...
